I know feeling, I had a roof console in the Vitara, and had the CB, plus all the switches for the spot lights up there... it even had a drop down storage area for my Sunglasses, that had a damper in the hing, so when you pushed it, and let go, it would lower slowly, sliding the glasses into your hand...

I have the "Missile" toggle switches on the dash of mine, for the Ambers, and bright rear whites, so they can't be put on accidentally. It was childish, but when I saw them, I just had to find a use for them...:D

 I'll be on ebay if anyone needs me :lol

A vid of me running some Liquimoly Diesel Purge through Sarah...https://youtu.be/6xlnuh2KgKI, and a pic of the return diesel connector coming off the Injection pump, it is right at the tip of my thumb :thumb2.... 20171220_134027.jpg

So, anyone got any tips on how to undo the top nuts on the rear shocks?, I heated them with a blow torch and soaked them with wd40 today ready for having a go at removing them tomorrow.
I was thinking of cutting two holes in the boot floor or undoing the rear and middle body mounts and lifting the body up a bit, what you guys think??

Wire brush on threads. We used rustics technique of tighten a bit first and then undo tighten until it submits. Failing that shout and swear at it. I was tempted to cut holes too. Think if I remember the threaded section isn’t a bolt but fixed rather than a separate bolt.

Yeh I think it's fixed thread and wind the nut off, I can't even get a socket on it though
Don't be surprised if I have a 1" bodylift tomorrow :lol

Now if the chavs party next door will bugger off I can get some sleep ready for it.

A couple of fuzzy pics of the old and new shockers I swapped out this aft, note the blow torch, twas feckin awkward :lol

The new shocks are same length of what I took off which are standard as far as I know.

The lengths of old original spec shocks are 14" compressed and 23-1/2" fully stretched. The new shocks are the same.
I've definitely noticed an improvement in ride quality and handling, much better over speed bumps and level crossings:thumb2

Don’t mention drop links, I’ll never forget doing those on my truck with you pal. I could hardly hold the ratchet for laughing :lol
