I'd thought of it but then dismissed it because the bottom mounts are just a peg on the radiator going into a rubber socket on the body or in your case chassis. Thought there would be enough sliding movement to cope.

There is some movement, and with how the rad is secured at the top I think it will be fine in a full on flex situation, but I reckon I will one day have a rad built for it.

I've just thought, I wonder what an insurance company will make of it?

They'll probably agree it'll be fine on full flex too :lol

Bumper back on today, why don't they ever line up nicely eh :banghead:, trimmed my hole a bit, I will take some more out at the top so the synthetic rope does not rub if its on that angle, the number plate covers the hole comfortably....

Does that mean fabrication is finished:eek: or is it a trial fit?

Bumper won't be coming off till after mot unless I need to get at the back to fix number plate on, so yeh I guess finished just need a winch :clap

Got the sills to do now, I reckon I'll enjoy doing them more than I did the front :)

Sounds like the icecream van.:D

Which is good :thumbs

99 WITH SPRINKLES PLEASE:augie

This was a bit rotten on the edges so I thought I'd chop it out where I've drawn to make a bit of room for the 40s....

I'm going to replace the seatbelt securing nut too as the bolt is snapped in it. The other side of the truck seems more solid than this, I'm looking forward to see what the front arches are like :doh :D

I think I'm going to take the new sill straight through then, under the bottom of the wing and fasten the wing on top of it, should leave enough room for some 45s eh :D....
