And the rest, that snatch block really really surprised me with how HEAVY it is, looks like 4 or 5mm steel, it has a grease nipple and just feels good quality, same for the tree saver (not heavy), and those dyneema shackle things seem great too :thumbs

Pmsl, I thought the same thing when I saw the box, it's flippin' yooooj innit :lol, I'm going to try and whip the tarp off the truck tomorrow and offer it up, I have the boy though and I'm off to local market/bootsale in the morning

yes you will need to cut it to fit, they are supplying for a whole range of vehicles, as for the dynema soft shackles I would not be using them straight onto the block, the edges are far too sharp, put a D shackle on there first, Rick

I've made an executive decision, the aircon rad cannot stay, therefore I now consider aircon to be gay and all that have it soft.

The mounting plate on n/s is where the pen is, same on t'other side so a fair bit to chop off I s'pose, no biggie though, makes things cheaper at the chromers :thumbs

After I cut some more out and smacked it with a hammer, quite a lot dropped off :doh

Looks very interesting, want to see the finished work, as a tip I only use S/S sheet now for these jobs, that way you only need to worry about protecting the weld seems inside, and yes before you ask S/S welds just fine with the gas I use "Argoshield Light" guess yours will be similar, try it, Rick

I'll do some research on ss welding, I was going to put a length of rectangular box section in but nothing is ever set in stone with me.
I've cut the pinch seam off, the new sills will only be as high as the top of the old pinch seam or maybe a little higher, I need to find out how much change I can make and still be mot'able, if it makes any difference at all that is :nenau
