Just done my compression rod bushes mate, If yours has worn through chassis like mine let me know and ill turn you up some spacers to weld in if you like.

Oh yeah!!!! They are a lot stiffer than the rubber ones and seem to last longer too

Is stiff a good thing for offroad though?, not as much flex and play and won't absorb knocks as much.
I reckon there is a few on mine that need doing but don't know what to buy, polly or rubber.

It depends on the grade of polyurethane used they can just be a good as rubber depending on how soft it is. Ive fitted the same kit to mine and while when new they feel hard and squeak for a few miles they have softend up and feel quite good.

Glad to hear this. I've just bought a rear axle poly bush kit

As said, these ones are a lot softer compound than some I've had before, I fitted a set of el cheapo's on the Maverick and they went that hard and deformed that they were just shattering like a plastic ruler

The set I swapped them for from Milners wasn't too bad to be fair and were still on the motor when I sold it to James for scrap.

These ones are perfect, I checked ze numbers :naughty

unless you go for a really expensive poly bush of the right grade the orange ones are a lot stiffer and while improving handling on the road they dont flex as well as the genuine rubber ones which i will be switching back to once these have worn out.:thumb2

Can't you get a set of blue polybushes? They tend to be more forgiving.

Blocky10 got some pink ones but they make a funny noise when he goes over speed bumps

Can get all different grades of poly bushes but as I needed one quick the orange ones where all I could source locally.
They do the job but don't let the front end flex as well as it could.

You can actually get pink bushes for sidesteps!!, for if you want things less rigid
