I'll watch out for that Rick, it turned out that my casting was slightly larger than most and as a result I have gone for 45mm spacers

I got some gay steps about to go in the scrap, there are several styles of bracket which one you after? Rick
Lol. I nearly took mine off but couldn't do it!
I like em. If I do take them off, I'll get them chromed and put them back on :lol
You buy the lwb then??
Proper job Zac.
Is there room on top to drill and tap a hole big enough to be able to suck the fluid out using the pumps people on here are trying. Its not going to be a weekly job is it?
My recent boxes have bolted on plates. There's not a lot of room for them so carefully mark out and centre punch the start points
Maybe drill and tap for an m10 bolt at bottom and a grease nipple at top, undo bolt and pump grease in, new grease in old grease out :nenau
Did a little more work last night after work and had the intentions of finishing it but after a Nandos takeaway and a massive glass of Nesquick I knew I wasn't moving from the living room especially with a new season of Southland to watch.
Just got to drill holes, tap and seal it up, I've decided that as it's only an idler that it wont actually need proper PS fluid in it and grease should be fine for lubricating the bearings, I am going to put a grease nipple on the top for easy access with the gun but as said the plate will be bolted on and will have a nice thick rubber gasket too :naughty but will be removable should I need to get back into it for whatever reason
Any tips mate, I'm going to start chopping mine today

It's pretty simple mate, you've got enough pics to go off now :naughty
It's hardened steel mate so it's going to take you a while to get through, best advice I was given was to buy some 0.8mm slitting discs which worked a treat :bow
