I'm being serious about the Spain trip, booze cruise on the way back :lol :lol

I'm up for loading loads of whatever cheap on the continent and making some money when we get back including, terrano spares, booze, fags, heroin, LSD (Limited slip diff :lol) etc etc

I can't think if a reason not to, so what the hell :D
Ian said he's coming too btw, his lappy went flat tho :augie

Even better how about getting a Ferry from Newcastle to Norway and hitting some of the scenery up there? That way I can class it as a holiday and the Mrs might come and donate half :naughty

Could do it in Winter and hit some snowy lanes :naughty

I've always fancied going to norway, see the fjords and northern lights, maybe eat a puffin or two :nenau :lol

Just got to fit a grease nipple and fill with grease and it's finished :clap :clap

I'm 100% confident that this is now waterproof and will not be worried about wading

Rear Window Guard

I've decided today I was going to get the window guard that I purchased a while ago stripped back to bare metal ready to spray matte black and fit :sly

Roof Bar Action

I managed to scavenge some old floor tiles from work that had been ripped out of the library at work and swapped them for a set of LWB roof bars :naughty :naughty I've also now got another bumper that needs to be chopped up and re-sprayed and fitted ASAP

I've taken some measurments and done some sums, this may be of use to others in the future as I've never been able to find exact measurments before for this job.

So, if you have standard Nissan Thule SWB bars fitted to your car you can get some LWB bars and chop them down by 138mm to get them as close to the front of the windscreen up front also avoiding the double skin so you can drill new holes with ease :thumb2

The centers are not so easy to deal with, the LWB bars have the center piece further back, so having to drill new holes for bases there which I have marked up, by rights I should just remove the old centre one and blank up the holes but the genius that fitted mine from Nissan did it through the double skin whch I cant access without cutting into the body of the car so I've had another idea.

I'm going to steal 2 ends from my old SWB bars and cut them down to size and wedge under the bar with a homemade gasket, if anything that should increase the strenght of the bars having another set of feet, it will roughly look like this just without the other set of bars of course;

I've measured 36mm to get them flush with the bars with a few mm to spare for a gasket in betweenas I dont want any rattle, I impressed myself with my resorcefulness :lol

More pics once I've done some chopping and fitting

Battery

I've also picked this up cheap and may throw it on the car since my last leisure battery gave up due to severe drainage cause by me using my burner for my CB for hours on end with engine off.

Nearly new and apparently throwing out more CCA than stated on the battery when tested :thumb2
