I use a bit of offcut as a guide for the first pass then simply follow that track successively till through, simples

We got a bloody tesco too, but it's a choice thing. Bacon from the butcher still looks like bacon when it's cooked and not a bit of shrivelled pork scratching
Cost a few pence more but the taste bonus is awesome.

Use grinder with guard off but dont tell health and safety you get more out of disc

Must be that, I tend to force them through impatiently

Total opposite to what I do with wood, which I tend to make love to as I work ... :lol blades for my Festool ts55 are a little dearer tho

Went to play on the beach today so only got a little done :augie
Brackets bolted to manifold so I can line it up for welding.

Then put the mounting plates on for true alignment, wouldn't want a wonky charger

Measured the distance apart to suit the S/C and scribed underneath ready to weld :sly

Must get up early tomorrow :lol

having looked again, how you gonna tack weld them plates onto the brackets, you got endoscope eyes or what, I am sure you have it worked out but buggerd if I can see it, Rick

I knew the front to back alignment so it was just a case of marking out with a felt pen to get a shadow mark to confirm theory.
Then unbolt the bkts and turn upside down and bingo weld away

I have done that sort of thing before, maybe my marking leaves a little to be desired as after welding it never quite fitted perfect,,now what I would have done here is drill a couple of holes over each bracket and plug weld to hold them in the right place, Rick
