Indeed a different light (K value varies) but for off roading (and boating) low ampage rules :thumb2
We just put LED strips in the boat and that worked out much better than individual LED replacement bulbs.

I have to say, on the issue of vehicle LED's some are very poor in that if you view from less than direct they are almost none existent, I am finding this a problem at many larger mini roundabouts with the vehicle facing me but well to the right, it is often impossible to tell if their OS indicator is flashing leading me to start to go when in fact he is indicating to turn into the roundabout instead of going straight ahead, Rick
 
I've noticed that especially with combined head light and indicator clusters.

And dodging, I love parking next to really expensive looking cars in supermarkets with my great big dirty dented truck. One of my new hobbies.

very nice:naughty got me thinking of putting LED lights in the bumper of my hyundai, already got them in the T2:D
 
Update

Got a bit more done this afternoon.
Had to make up some brackets to hold the little buggers in. Found some old alu in the garage and so went at it :sly

The originals in the box weren't up to the modded situ. Here you can see what's going on :thumb2

First fix on the beast went well :cool:

Will need some more time now to finish the job with the wiring :augie Running the side lights into the headlight units now and then a new feed for the day running lights.
