Hi all, does anyone know any figures for setting toe when doing tracking, or best place to look for them?

Its all in the manual if you have access to it.
Can't remember off the top of my head but sure its +/- a few mm.

Presumably you will be getting it done at a tyre place, if so they will have the info to hand, if not I can probably look it up, but it will only be for standard trucks, if you have mods then it is trial and error, Rick

Thanks guys :thumb2 I've had a look through the workshop downloads and found lots of info on it.

3 to 5mm toe in on mine, but like you say Rick thats when the truck is standard, I have a 2" rise on mine. The manual shows how to set camber, castor and allsorts of other stuff I don't understand yet :lol

I am going to fit new track rod ends then set it up at work using the smaller tracking equipment we use for vans etc. Then when I get my new tyres I'll get the garage to fit them and do the tracking adain :thumb2

An update on my truck, I did some welding on the drivers footwell behind accelerator pedal, the usual spot.
Had a new windscreen fitted today, also got two track rod end kits and a couple of new drop links for front arb but not fitted them yet.

MOT TOMORROW

Failed on wiper blades and top ball joints, advised on bottom ball joints so I've asked garage to replace all four and fit my new track rod kits and arb drop links too, I'm pretty pleased with that :D

Bought this bad boy t'other day, 15 squids, ex RAF, its for boot organisation :D
When my sjocks let go at cowm quarry everything in the back got flipped likeva pancak, several times :doh So I'm gonna put what I can in it and strap it down :thumb2

I took the padding out 'cos its very thick and takes a lot of room up, its good dense stuff though so definitely going to find another use for it :thumb2

I stripped down and cleaned my starter motor recently because it stopped working, it engaged ok but did not spin up, the clutch did not turn freely either. It was full of crud and there was stuck bearing on one side of the clutch. I cleaned all the dirt out and got the bearing free but it was rough. Changed bearing rebuilt and hey presto :D
