I've been looking at turbo and exhaust bits lately, what you guys reckon to these...

The main problem with fitting something like these I think would be clearance of the bulkhead, I reckon it's doable though. I found this too which I think would be better for space against the bulkhead but I have doubts as to how durable it would be, plus it looks quite restrictive on the waste gate side, well it's just a plate innit...https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/T3-T4-T0...=113988985127ccc1982f29d2429ea40e47bc56dbc3dd
I'm trying to find a link to a cast one I saw which has the band built in.

Less restriction of exhaust fumes when they leave the turbine, the factory one looks very tight and a bit small.

Doubt you would get any measurable gain from just that expensive mod, 3 inch straight through exhaust would be a better bet, Rick

A 3 inch exhaust would follow naturally :D, the 45° bend in the exhaust that takes it under the body is very restrictive too.
I want a bigger turbo eventually, not a massive one but even so it might take 500-750rpm longer to spool up, a free flowing dump pipe would counteract that.
The turbo is a garrett tb25, I'm trying to find out if there is an easy "next size up" turbo to get. A lot of the Garrett's have the same exhaust inlet and outlet flanges and bolt patterns, as long as the compressed air outlet can face up (you can spin it round, called clocking the turbo) it should be fine, just measure the lengths of oil and coolant pipes and get some braided ones made up, if the originals don't fit that is!

Doug have a search on here for a thread where I posted about a Scania Turbo, I'm sure Pete piped up in there as well.

There was deffo a video I've seen somewhere of a Terrano that had a Scania Turbo bolted on

Cheers mate, will do :thumb2

So I'm drying the truck out now, not going bad.
Here's a list of problems that have developed since I took on the nautilus :D

N/s or o/s or both sides indicators come on continuously, not flashing just on like a side light, can be either side or all at once, regardless of whether ignition is on or not.
The airbag light is flashing on the dash.
The central locking does not work.

Most important is indicators for me, I can probably lock the doors from inside and with the key and I don't dare about the air bags much.
If anyone has had any problems with indicators or knows anything about the system pls pitch in!

I took this off and loads of water poured out of it, its located above the small fuse board in drivers football, the indicators also turned off when unplugged it but whether that is coincidental remains to be seen....

Well, made a start on putting a wing trim back on with small coach bolts, tried a quick spray to see what it looked like but turned out crap, I'm going to take it off and paint it and the bolts at work tomorrow, bolts could do with shortening too.
I think it will look with the bolts in, I plan on doing it to the rest too....

I've toyed with that idea in the past. Not sure I like the look of it, but no idea on how else to go about trying a repair without it being visible from the front :nenau

Yeh I'm not 100% yet but I've knocked them off too many times, getting fed up now

I did away with the crappy plastic clips and re drilled mine with tek screws straight to the body panels.
Only works if there is metal under the plastic trims though:lol
