Moved the rad back a little and made some new mounts for it, I used some plate that I cut to size then rolled it round something...

Doug, I've been rolling around under mine the past few evenings with the winch in the front of my mind, did you remove your A/C rad or do you not have A/C?

I'd like to get mine working tbh, but as it's not working now and it may potentially be in the way of the winch, I might just strip it all out, what's your thoughts mate?

Mine didn't work so I took the rad and fan out, I will hopefully get it working and fit a smaller rad off another vehicle or get one made, but I would definitely like it to work again. I also drove over the old rad by accident and now it's got a lovely curve in it, but that is optional really:D All the pipes are still there with the connections, just nowhere to mount a rad.

I had an hour on the truck today and sorted the rear lights out, I had put the bulbs/bulb holders into the wrong holes :doh, so I had flashing fog and reverse lights when I indicated and the n/s indicator lit constant when put it in reverse, o/s indicator on constant when I put rear fog light on :lol Swapped 'em round and all is good :lol

After that I installed a new light switch/indicator stalk that I got from Rick and now my front fog lights work :D so, thanks Rick :thumb2

Just the rear arb to go on and fit the wiper mech bits that I also got from Rick and she should be an mot passer and I can finally fit in here :lol

Plenty of room to fit a hidden winch with the air-conditioning rad in place:thumb2

Thanks mate :D she's a diamond in the rough, loose trim, scratches and dents everywhere but she's got it where it counts, she'll be nice and shiny some day soon :D

These came today, I already have a couple and a tree saver but after going to Slindon with Rick I ordered these, from a guy called recovery 4x4 on ebay and I'm very pleased with them.
From left to right is 10 metre, 5m and 2m all for a little under £55....

Well done mate, look after the trees, they will help you in the future, Rick

How's things T-Doug. Been waiting for update photos:naughty

Things are good my friend :thumb2 I've done a nice little guvvy job that made me quite a wedge so things can move forward a little more.
I'm going to finish putting the rear arb back on, I just need two m10 1.25 pitch nuts, I have a piece of rubber for the exhaust hanger and also the wiper mech to go on, all really easy jobs and then it will pass the mot :D. Next jobs are tax and insueance and a drop of derv then empty all the crap out of it, bit more grinding on one of sills for cosmetic purposes then some paint :clap

Good man. I'm ready for a meet. Found nasty holes in the chassis towards the rear that need sorting before I can tow though:eek:
I can't have my truck falling off my 'van:lol

Yeh that is not a good look, unless you're going to be in a carry-on film :lol

How big holes will they take much sorting?

It's the main chassis behind the axle to the rear. The bit the towbar is bolted to:doh almost get ya fist through it...
It's bad but won't take much to fix. Next week's job I reckon.

She's back and with an mot too :D, I'm very happy and she drove beautify on the way back, going to sort insurance and tax now then empty all of the tools, old parts and spare bits of metal out of the interior :doh:lol
