Good evening peeps, I got my heater working today, I detached the two small pipes for the heater matrix from the thermostat housing and stuck the hose pipe on them one at a time taking it in turn flushing both ways, lovely :D

I also ordered a snorkel kit from the bay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-Te...690371?hash=item46647e0203:g:vXcAAOSwZVlXtGRA and started work modifying the air filter box with a saw and a drill, hammer and grinder to follow tomorrow :sly, I say THE air filter box, it's actually one I got from zippy656 last year (before he renounced his terrano faith) so I can mod it.

Tomorrow I'm going to do some cutting and welding in the air filter area behind the n/s headlamp to make a nice spot for a second battery to go and to get rid of a bit of rot, the air filter needs slightly repositioning too and the rocket launchers finally came through customs :p:D

EDIT: I've got some bits from milners here to put on too.

This is the mounting bracket for the air filter, I extended it and made new fixing points by welding some nuts underneath after drilling some holes, I did this to move the air filter closer to the engine giving me more space between filter and inner arch....

This is what I have been doing with the air filter, I cut slots out so air can get all around the outside of the element, it only seals in the innermost part, then I welded an extension and blocked off the old intake in one go....
