I watched his vids on the build of his rock crawler, scorpion I think it's called. Not bad vids but that one T-Doug linked makes him look a t.i.t.

I was thinking of welding a 3 or 4mm plate to that cross member what my red grips are resting on for a winch plate, what domyou guys reckon??

At least it can't fail test on radiator cross member cos it's not there :lol

You need to hose out that radiator mate.

I don't think it's a good idea to weld a plate from the front panel that's rotted to the chassis cross member. If you attached a winch tray to the chassis cross member is it likely to pull chassis out of shape? Surely it needs to take the weight from the front to back chassis rails.

He's attatched to the bumper mountings like wotshisname on here, wotshisname reinforced them first tho, looks like its the way to go, radiator out then, give it a soak then to get the mud oot :D
