Still can't get into this thread on my home PC, what a cracking day this was!

Andy/CAmeraman, superb road book, really shows the level of planning that has gone into this event, and when I get the N Wales date sorted the only standard to work to is what you provided.

I'l post my (few) pics later this evening hopefully.

Yep I'll drink to that, what a cracking day. Thanks to Cameraman for the meticulous planning, JohnathonM for our groups navigation, Hummingbird for the filming, Shark1e for the constant entertainment and everyone else for turning out.

Will be up for the next one.

Regards to all,

Chris.

Great Day out!

Thanks for the invite.

And for those that didn't come this time round, I hope you'll feel inspired to come next time around and put your 4x4 to good use

Glad you all had a great day out, I just looked at the photo's. Perhaps next time I might lose the hairspray out of the boot

Got about an 1½hours ago having gone to Knaresborough to pick up a trailer and have finally eaten and unpacked.

Was my first time out laning though I had seen a couple of those lanes before at great speed in the middle of the night. Had a great day out - thanks cameraman. Apologises once again for late arrival.

Petrol tank seems to have held up after all, do wonder if it might have been someone else leaking fuel. No sign of any leak on mine, just came down on it very hard at the time. Going to have a shallower, though perhaps slightly longer one made up (in stainless steel if its not too much extra over mild) that will fit up behind the chassis rail and then look into a full length guard, might as well do the whole lot whilst I'm at it. Some ATs too before the Tong weekend.

I'll try to do something with the video i took over the next few days.

Did the video ever get uploaded?

Sorry, no not yet, have been too busy but hopefully can sort it next month.

Can anyone remember which of the lanes from this day (15 Oct) that most of us avoided after the lead group found it hard going. Also did we miss anything else? I'm finally doing the user evidence on wayfinder as I've just found the route and I know I missed Dirtlow Rake and Pindale by being late but not sure about the rest.

The lane that wasn't driveable was Sillydale, due to a large rock obstruction, ? naturally occuring. The other lane that gave us trouble due to overgrowth & fragile stone wall as through Dale Farm at SK19555 72157.

Hope this helps.

Definately was Sillydale mate - large rock blocking the route (it was a long way to reverse back up)!!

Hi all

Count me and the wife in  Looking forward to it

Sorry, but as soon as I get one it'll be back to monthly lane trips again.
