Hi Somem, one of these relays are to do with the starter, I know this because I once had to call the RAC as my Mav wouldn't start and the fault was some corrosion on the connections of one of these relays, he cleaned the connections and it never went wrong again.

Yes this puts me off using it too. I have in the past asked people who are are having one of their "intellectual" conversations if they wouldnt mind switching from ch 19 so that other people could use the "Breaking" channel for it's proper purpose only to be met with a tirade of abuse.

my old Mav was like this I had to wrap tape around the body of any plug I was using to fill out the hole, however my 97 T2 is fine...manufacturers tolerance? Or could be broken!

Ain't got one on mine either although I can see what is left of the fasteners! The one on my old Mav came loose so had to fix that back on with Bollof thread inserts and stainless screws.
