I'll take plenty of photos T-Doug. :thumbs
Just waiting on the postman.

I love that feeling when you open your front door and there's goodies on the mat, or usually more often than not a card telling me my parcel was too big for the letterbox and is being held at my local depot at which point the wheels are already spinning on the Terrano :naughty

Right on! Just a waiting game atm:sly

Still searching info atm T-Doug. It'll get sorted though. Gearing myself up to open fresh tin of whoop arse on it:lol

Did you get anywhere with this bud, I wish I could help but I haven't got a clue what it should be :)

I guess you have the diff with the thin metal plate fitted from the rear, apart from going to Nissan your only other option is to remove the prop flange and get the numbers from the seal, put it back together and order one from the likes of Kent Bearings, but have you a socket to fit the flange nut? and the power to undo it? the nut is big and the torque very high, a 3ft bar will probably not be enough and you must restrain the flange and not rely on the wheels not turning as the half shaft wind up will not give you sufficient movement on your long bar, Rick

Cheers Rick. Yes I have the thin metal plate. A socket and power? I've no idea. :lol but I do have a 2 poster lift :naughty

What could go wrong:nenau :D

The forces involved are high, if for instance you placed a holding bar from the flange to the rear off side leg of your lift and then tried to undo the nut the car could be lifted from the leg (disaster) better if you can to strut it to the chassis, that way the axle will try to lift into the suspension and if you have your breaker bar such that you are pulling down then the forces will balance out, you may of course be lucky and find it has been off before, in which case it will most likely not have been tightened as tight as it should be, Rick

Thanks again Rick. All understood:thumbs

Still collecting bits and pieces. Came home from work to a full exhaust, pinion seal, and electrical bits and bobs, laying on the kitchen floor:D
