Good man, have you had to take her out anywhere or buy her any shoes :augie

I'll be sure to upload plenty pics as usual :) I think it was Stinka who did the Dislocation Cones mod wasn't it? I'm sure he used a set from an LR Discovery

Ah!!!! I've been spotted!!!!! Lol

Were you coming the other way? What were you in?

About 2 weeks ago on the m6 we leap frogged each other a few times I was with a blue descovery and me in my patrol you got off at the m42 or m69.

I remember!!!!! You guys were going for it lol

We did 478 miles and I used just over a tank of fuel so I was happy lol.

Thats a bout right :thumb2

I'm going to get rid of my fixed hubs and fit a set of auto's and I should reap some fuel back as the front prop wont be spinning etc

Come on Banshee what have you done to the truck today? Waiting for more picks:D

Nothing today mate, hopefully have some new updates next few weeks or so, I'm trying to concentrate on my Bio Diesel Processor at the moment:sly

I fitted a DVR in the truck and went out to test it, does that make up for you having the day off:lol

Nope not taken her out or bought her anything:lol yes I think it was stinka who first did it & he got about 40mm lift (1.5" in old money) but i'm sure someone else went to do it but ran into probs due to the size of the dis cones:confused:

Well I've just read Stinka's thread which was stickied and have opted against the idea now

It appears that you have to do a bit of bodging to get the spings to stay in with cable ties and welding rods :doh plus you don't benefit from the full height unless you swap the shock absorbers

I think I'm just going to do what I did with the Maverick and just swap the SWB springs for a set of LWB springs which lifts the rear significantly but not to the point where you need to swap the shocks, however swapping the shock s does make the ride smoother on the rear as the springs will be somewhat more compressed than the SWB ones making them firmer

I'll then wind the torsion bar up on the front to match the height of the back and then I'll see if Santa gets my letter for a 2" body lift kit :sly
