Alloys

I've had these off James :D

15" Weller Steels with a beautiful offset, they were on a LWB white Maverick in his yard and they looked the nuts, they stick out nice and wide

They are currently with City Powdercoaters, in Digbeth and are being sprayed Gun Metal Grey with a Matte finish and will then have my BFGoodrich AT's fitted :clap

Can't wait

I know it`s a bit sad, but I like your truck just as it is bling included. I don`t go for the `rat` look. You spend good money on a good truck, then make it look like a midden......cannot see that myself......mine works hard for a living, but still gets washed down every week and cleaned out nicely inside......I have to nearly live in it.....

Each to their own and all that mate, I'm not going for "rat" look at all, I just think it's way way way too bling to be a commercial. I hate the 17" wheels and that size wheel doesn't really give much choice for AT tyres.

I already have 5 brand newish BFGoodrich Tyres and I saw these alloys and the offset that they have and they appealed to me, if you want to see how pedantic I am, I've just brought a bleeding passengers airbag to replace the one already in the dash as mine has a few scuffs :lol

Your new wheels once painted should look great:thumbs TBH I love my 17's & found there was still a good selection of AT tyres for them but prices are a bit higher tho:doh Once the winter is over will prob refurb my alloy's & like you go for a gun metal colour or poss black

My point exactly!!!! Why spend out on 17" AT's when I can get offset and use my current AT's when I was offered these at a bargain price :thumb2

You have a valid point there:thumb2 I don't have any spare wheels but I love the look of the 17's so they are stopping will widen the track a bit using hub centric spacers:augie

Might get me some of those eventually as well and get even more offset :sly

Wheels!!!!!!!

So they are finally on and I LOVEEEEE them :)

So much offset and they have lifted the truck by an inch as well I think, I've removed the mudflaps but still catching a tiny bit on the sills on full lock so I'm going to get the angle grander out later on

What do you guys think?

Love the look with the rims.
So let me get this right, you've gone from the standard 17s to 15s. The std tyres are 235(?) 70 x17, on mine anyway, and your 15s are what?
And assuming your truck is std atm, because of the offset, the tyres are just fouling the cills?
If I'm right I'm looking for some steel wheels today :D

looks much much better! regarding the rub, trim mudflaps, and using pliers, bend the seam inwards then gently tap it using a hammer. nice wheels.

Thanks for the nice replies all :thumbs

Yes, just went from standard 17" rims to 15" rims and 31x10.50 R15's :)

Looking good mate :thumb2
It's not the rim off set that has lifted the truck but the bigger diameter tyres on the 15 inch rims.
The standard tyres are around 29 inch and the new ones are 31 inch.

how much did you pay for the powder coating banshee old bean, if you don't mind me asking? did they strip them too before coating? cheers. :thumb2

Looking tidy mate (apart from the bumper bling  )
I don't know why you're talking about cutting the sills though :nenau
DON'T
No need till 35s so all you need do is bin the mud flaps and flatten the inner wing seem. You may also need a little trim off the lower plastic off the bumper :D
If you're going to body lift, then you could trim then as you may not need to cut so much

How will you get on at the next MOT? The tyres stick out beyond the wheel arch...

A bit of rubber mat round the arch will sort it. However it'll probably pass the MOT but upset the boys in blue

Hi banshee now I know who I see the other week coming home from the strata! Truck looks good!
