Note the tears and saggy shallow rear pockets :doh

Here are my nice ones from storage :thumb2 They need a good clean but are sooooooo comfortable in comparison and are still quite firm :clap

And here's how tricked the car into thinking the side air bags are still present :sly This has now been wrapped with the special (and expensive) automotive electrical fabric tape that car manufacturers still use today (ford mainly I'm advised) this has then been tucked away in a small shallow plastic case and has been pushed under the carpet.

Do you have a link or info on the resistors you have used:thumb2 thinking of unplugging mine as would hate to be involved in a slight bump the the seat air bags go off & that would right the motor off due to the cost of just replacing the seats:doh

Did the torsion bars tonight

Does anyone fancy helping me with this? I'm 100% sure I'm more than capable of fitting the kit, I'm just worried about my bumpers, I can't really weld and haven't got a welder.

Will the bumpers fit back on but just leave a gap or will they just not go back on at all? I see a Pajero often round by me that's had a big lift and he's just put the bumpers back on but there's just a big gap, I don't mind driving round like that for a while until someone can mod my bumpers but I suppose while it's all off I'd rather do it in one go

Anyone fancy some beer tokens :naughty ??

Looking good, but don't forget having done a front lift, check your headlight alignment.
Are you doing a lift at rear too, maybe LWB springs or the +2" ones?:nenau
Edit.. just noticed, you have the LWB springs already.. but it looks like you need a bit more.

What's that furry dangly thing hanging from near your steering wheel?
:augie

Bumpers can go back on but will leave a big gap, ok for the time being.

Would help but I'm too far away and mega busy!

I've adjusted the headlight alignment, I was dazzling people, they were flashing me :lol

Yeah I might do the Discovery dislocation cone mod as I can re-index even more :naughty

The truck is looking great Banshee:thumb2 & loving your light bar, I was thinking of poss using round spotlights but after seeing yours as it's the same colour as mine think i'll go for rectangle ones this time:augie

Really tempted to do the body lift tonight :sly

Front Spots

Fitted these bad boys yesterday :thumb2

Part of the job lot I "robbed" halfords for at £2 a pair :lol
Not wiring them up until I've sourced relays and I've done the body lift :thumb2

Just see the dislocation cone comment, why bother  you still can't lift the front any higher

Looking good banshee.:thumb2
You can do the bumper brackets without any welding.
Will take a bit longer than cutting and re welding but a few nuts and bolts, plate, angle grinder and drill will soon have them sorted.

Thanks buddy!!! I have all of these things apart from the plate :(

Could you source me some for a drink? :naughty

The front spots on the bumper does the bracket bolt go just through the plastic bumper or does it go through the steel work under the bumper as well:confused:

The front is fairly simple to do with no mods to the bumper just a bracket with the mounting holes 50 mm lower to pick up on the captive nuts in the chassis.
I will have a look at the back to see what can be done without a welder as I have got a spare bumper in the shed :thumb2
