good job! :clap when welding ive always gone for strength over looks:thumb2 but ive only ever stick welded till recently.
im definitely going to steal your radiator relocation idea when i get round to fitting a winch.
If you are going to use synthetic, then you must have an ally fairlead, synthetic rub against slot in tray = synthetic in 2 bits, Rick
Does an ally fairlead have rollers or are they rigid?
Yeh the winch I will be getting comes with one of those ones, like you say, nice and easy on the synthetic rope. Do you carry a blanket to lay over rocks etc. so the rope doesn't get damaged Rick?
...the outer sides on mine are visibly worn but not near replacement yet... Rick
I guess to get more wear out of the plate, refit it upside down.:thumb2

Now there's a man who knows how to get his money's worth.
:thumbs
Some great work going on there, some really good welding too.
I am just going to ask possibly a dumb question, but as I am not normally known for this, no one has said, but others may have thought it :lol but I will ask it anyway.:doh
The Terrano is built on a chassis, the body shell part is separate from the chassis but connected via rubber body mounts only.
Have you supported the radiator bottom on the chassis and the top of the radiator to the body part, if so, you might want to think about the possible movement between the two when undergoing articulation. This could stress the radiator.
I may of course missed something, but my thought also applies to any other metal work that bridges the chassis and bodywork.
Just might be worth considering, as other modders might not be aware either.
Rustic
To be honest though I can't see any problems arising with how it is now.
