count me in provisionally, got two weeks off from that date ready for ali going in for ivf egg embryo transfer. so down to if she wants to bounce round derbyshire, if not and if i can come will bring a pal instead.

never been green laning before but would love to try. had really bad year so far and need some sort of distraction, so count me in.
could we have some details of cost and location please.

Thanks Bigdave.

Only cost is whatever you use in fuel, and or damage LOL, plus a packed lunch.

Will post full location and times later. Had to revise meet point as one proposed is now a no go.

How many miles are you planning? I've got a more limited range than most due to running on LPG and the petrol sides playing up at the moment, something to do with the change over, might have it sorted by then though, but at the mom I can't even carry an extra Jerry can just in case.

Also what sort of terrain are you plaaning? Will MTs or ATs be needed?

GREEN LANINGHI

HI ALL.
should I bring me FM CB RADIO I still have one somewere.
we are looking forward to this so well done camaraman.
regards
iandouglas and sheila.

Still can't confirm for this, but will try to do so tonight.

Don't have a CB, but do have PMR's (motorolas) so might be a good idea if people have them to bring as well.

still space for me? pretty please with a cherry on top? :D

Mike

No probs, Name added (edited by Cameraman to save posts)

Mission control says yes, but I'm on my own (no gate opener/navigator) at the moment. I'll see if I can track down a front seat passenger.

Also looks like it will be 2 or 3 groups of vehicles as well.

Mike you misunderstand, I was referring to 'er indoors as my mission control as I've only been a possible, it is up to Andy (Cameraman) to give you the nod. Sorry for the confusion!

JonathanM yer i knew that  lol woops i just went straight to the bottom to ask if i could come lol. Will we be doing stannage edge?

Mike :)

Mikeh, glad you decided to come along,

I recced Stanage couple of weeks ago, Redmires end is easy peasy, unfortunatly Stanage end at the crux point is severe, it was last crossed (as far as I know) by a group using waffle boards and spotters. I thought this was probably best left for this time as we do not want to cause any damage or have to turn around/get stuck/damage vehicles.

If you really want to do Stanage then another time, and we can go as a smaller group. Our group of 10 would more than likely attract the wrong sort of publicty and probably end up bunching and sat for hours.

We will be taking in some other classic routes still legally open, although as far as I know nothing so dramatic in views(or drop)!! I have been unable to recce all routes, and some are unknown to me - but thats half the fun.

no problem its just on my to do list lol so if ever any one goes please tell me lol. i went laning yestarday and one lane stuck in my mind but i dont know what it was called all i can tell you is that it is long and has some rocky step 3/4 way through so i will find out what its called cus its a cracker :D

Send an e mail or PM to Cameraman, if you can remember GR or location and if legal and suitable we can always take it in. It may be on route already as we were out yeaterday doing a bit of a recce.

i was out yesterday in the same area suprised we didn't see you. I have sent an email to the leader from yesterday so i will let you know tomorrow i know how to get to some when we are out in the area of hope and near the blue john covens that the sort of area you are going?

Mike :)
