Right lets go blow the cobwebs away in Derbyshire.

Green lane day Saturday 13th October 07

The route will take in the mighty Stanage edge.

More details to follow at a more respectable posting time of the day.

MEET POINT and TIME

Meet: Saturday 13th October 2007. Bamford Rail station. 0930.

Grid Ref: SK 20708255, landranger map series, sheet 110.

Nearest road junction in road atlas: A6187/A625 and A6013. Petrol/Diesel available at this traffic lighted junction. Rail station 250 yards away.

Satnav: Bamford - Station road - 'crossing' - Saltergate lane

CB: Initially set to channel 30 from 0915.

I'll be running 3 groups of 4 vehicles maximum.

Oh! delema!! thats a popular weekend,do i travel down to derbyshire,or do i go to any of the other offroad days on that date :? :? :lol:

Long way from Scotland if your unsure, I'll be running another the next month and the month after.

I don't want to put you off, but I am running more and would be happy to see you at any of them.

Working on the new one this week and going to try it Saturday if all OK.
 
Hi,just that there is two other 4x4 events not that far from me on that weekend,just having to weigh it up,the other two are pay and play events!! where as it would be deisel and van for yours!!lol will work it out when i'm on my days off!! will def be at one of them though!! :lol:
 
I'd be up for this - nothing planned so far on this weekend, will check with mission control tonight.

Plenty of views but not a lot of response, we've had 58 votes on the home page about green lanes, so I thought that more may have attended.

Never mind it will still take place, but I may invite a few friends along too.

Lists closed for now, anyone else will be on reserve lists. I may consider running a 4th group nearer the time if demand is high, we'll have to see.

something has been sprung on us last minute.

Sorry to hear that Ian, it'll not be the same without you and Shiela. I know Lucy will be dissapointed. (She gets her own internet Monday)

I'll get you over Stanage one day, even if we have to go on our own matey.

I'm still on for this, not been out for a while so need to dust off the cobwebs from the MT's and find the CB!

You'll need the MTs, I was out last Sat with Lucy on our own and it was slippery, but a lot of what we are doing is on rock and loose stuff. Even with the diff locks in I got wheel spin on one section of new route 8O , but then again the front end was in the air at the time :lol: 8O 8O
