Why are you cleaning the tank banshee. Having fuel problems or just preventive maintenance. It's handy to know what the inside gubbins look like though. :thumbs

Tank was off to allow better access for Waxoyling and while it was off would be silly not to strip and service

Banshee has this turned into a truck for you?

When it came back into my possession the intention was to always tart it up underneath before I sold it just as a little summer project if anything, but the more I work on it the more I do want to keep it :doh

herts4x4 has expressed interest in it at the price I'm after but there's no way I'll have it all done and back together in time for the deadline that he's up against so I'm just riding it out at the moment

You're doing a top mate, I bet there won't be another like it for sale anywhere, will be a lucky buyer who gets that.

You've really being flying through the pictures on threads too, I bet your eyes water after a good sesh doing that, cheers mate, I appreciate the effort :thumb2:bow:D

I've also removed the side steps as I had a comment from somebody saying they really made the truck look awful, the chrome cylindrical ones were smart that I had on my truck when I first brought it, I'll stick a set of those on if a set come up cheap.

I've also still got those chrome bumper corners and going to stick those on too :thumb2

This one's going to become the bling mobile :naughty

Not a fan of steps myself. Took them off my 3l lwb (regret selling😐).

In Mallorca at the moment and absolutely loads of Terranos out here. Mostly swb with a few lwb. See four or five a day. Most have steps and in some funky colours. A few have 'dakkar' on the side.

Have taken a few pictures of them (the missus thinks I'm mad but nothing new there! ) and will upload when we get home as the wifi in the hotel is pants.

its nice to see a clear pick of the tank.
i know the mai filler tube has the small pipe that goes up alongside it and comes out near the filler top but i have often wondered what the little unit on edge does and where the pipe it connects to goes.
my take is its a one way valve as if fuel goes up it could drain.
rick zac others thoughts please

Looks awesome banshee

BTW your private message capacity is full as couldn't pm you

On and On and On we go.........

The torsion bars are out, both hubs, calipers, shocks, tie rod ends, ball joints all removed for best application of Waxoyl :naughty

Getting close now to application day then it's just the task of spannering all the new/ nicely painted parts back on with new bolts :sly

Also, just an observation whilst working in the passengers side wheels arch

How the hell do you do an oil filter change on as Terrano with no body lift without getting it all mover the floor, that's an awful design :doh

Oil change is a breeze Banshee. As you can see it's a paper cartridge and look below it there's a neat little spill tray to direct the spilled oil.

3 litre engine, it's the way to go:thumbs
