    These will fit won't they

Stuff, :) I'm not here to promote my bosses shop, Just thought I'd mention it to Adz as he is local. I could however ask my boss about doing a group buy for bits if people desire? Don't want to talk out of line so if the team would rather I didn't then no probs.

    ch4 nhs food

I hate the bad press the NHS gets, Yes some parts are not great but on the battle front (Wards and A&E) it is brilliant. My dad had a very severe heart attack 18 months ago and the level of care he got was superb, Couldn't have asked for more. He was 36hrs away from his body giving up about a...

Oi, I'm a proper essex lad, I keep my socks on! You have to be ready to make a run if the husband comes home. ;)

They say it comes in 3's...

That's just a frivolous spending, I put mine on a 30 degree wash and dry on the line next to my socks. It's recycling! :nenau

    These will fit won't they

I have tested quite a few h1 replacement bulbs in my E30 and the best I found was the Osram Nightbreakers. I eventually changed to HID in that car (proper projector lights as standard even in 1988!) I have Nightbreakers in the Maverick and am very happy with them.

    Sloppy wiper linkage

Hi Rick, Thanks for the offer but I'll try some silicone remover first. My mate is a plumber, I've just spoken to him and he has some remover :thumb2 Thanks again and if I need them I'll send some pennies/pounds/gold bullion your way.

    Sloppy wiper linkage

Totally agree, It's hideous! I need to get a couple of replacement metal panels then I'll strip it all clean and replace the silicone as you mentioned. Or I'll get some neoprene and make some gaskets. Why someone decided that was a good idea I don't know!

    Sloppy wiper linkage

Superb advice gents, most helpful and made the job pretty simple. On removing the trim panel I kinda guessed someone has been here before! I spoke to my colleague who owned the mav before me and he had warned me there was silicone under there but Jesus H Christ! Once I had managed to...

once upon a time, there wa...............

I have plenty of mates that build high power engines for motorsport use and have worked in the motor trade/spares for over ten years. Have seen more than a handful of failed MAFs.

    Sloppy wiper linkage

Ah well, if that's the case I'll leave it. Being daft will match the driver :D I have ordered that '94 linkage and motor so I have spares coming. May just wait till that turns up and swap the whole lot over. Can imagine that's going to be a glorious job. :(

    Sloppy wiper linkage

Cheers for that, I'll have a gander tomorrow. I'm fairly sure that my mate (previous owner) said it was play in the linkage not motor, I can move the drivers side arm and the passengers side stays still, If the motor side splines were spinning then both would move together?

once upon a time, there wa...............

The one thing I will say about these type of oiled paper filters is that they can sometimes cause premature failure of the MAF dut to oil getting sucked in a sticking to the hotwire of the MAF, Which in turn does not read the correct info as it is basically insulated. I personally stick to OEM...

    Sloppy wiper linkage

I have done a search and couldn't find anything useful. Does anyone know what causes excessive play in the linkage? My drivers side arm moves right up the the screen rubber now and it's something I want to sort. I can get a 94 motor and linkage if this would be the same? I love the truck, it's...

    Black tint

I've fitted loads of vinyl graphics over the years and the solution I use if I need to apply wet is 500ml of water to one drip of washing liquid, any more and it becomes too slick to dry in a reasonable time. Never done windows though so not 100% if you would want any more soap in the solution.
