No idea but they are 100 watt so unlawful for road use :thumb2

You can get ones that emit the same brightness but use less power so they are 55 watt.

sounds crackers but its true :D

Just experimenting with different lighting

Ive got some in my main (not dip theyre standard) beam. They are only 65 watts (or whatever it is youre allowed cant remember) so legal but emit almost the same as a hid in terms of brightness :thumb2 got them from a bloke in the states and theyre eu ok'd :thumb2

Your headlights are almst certainly h4 ive just come across the invoice for some bulbs i bought for my t2.

I used to have some 100 / 140W in my Mk2 crapi and a pair of Wipac Hairraisers...And an uprated alternator!!

I've just been looking at some 100 / 90W for the Troll... But the 50/55W's are ok in the new bowls for now. Don't often use it in the dark not done any Night Laning yet (Daved)

I have tested quite a few h1 replacement bulbs in my E30 and the best I found was the Osram Nightbreakers. I eventually changed to HID in that car (proper projector lights as standard even in 1988!)

I have Nightbreakers in the Maverick and am very happy with them.

ring xenon max h4.. i like them

my only advise is go with what dave suggests, lights are a big sticking point in the event of an accident . and if you get a shitty copper they can throw the book at you for lights . plus a big pain for the mot

hope this helps

I recently changed over to nightbreakers too.... I would say almost twice as bright as the old ones... they were about £14 delivered from e bay :thumb2

I agree with Mowerman, tried all sorts of bulbs in my T2 including 100w versions but Osram Nightbreakers are the best by far (and I've fitted them in my Honda Jazz too), and they're legal (my local MOT tester told me a couple of years ago they don't check headlight wattage, only the alignment, so if you go for the 100w bulbs it's only the consequences if you should have the misfortune to have them checked by the old bill that you have to worry about).
