I'm not here to promote my bosses shop, Just thought I'd mention it to Adz as he is local.

I had some 100w rally bulbs on a Patrol years ago. One headlamp glass cracked when vehicle stopped through overheating on a cold night. Later I had the connector block melt on the other. Nowadays the latest Xenon bulbs like nightbreakers give better light with no increase in current or heat. I use Autobulbs Direct, superb service, both for car and bike (for day running light).

Next years MOT will check over wattage headights as well as HD bulbs on non suspension compensating vehicles and not too son on that one !
