    Number 1 injector again.

I had a new one fitted before Christmas. I can't help with part numbers, but can tell you that it was definitely a Bosch branded part (mine's a '98 TDi). Dale

    whos driving the oldest t2

Not me, mine's a '98 too... And it ticks all the boxes for me, so will be staying for probably another three years or so before probably being replaced by a Pathfinder...

    T2 in 4H on semi-gritted roads?

I have manual hubs on mine and live in the land of many roundabouts. To be honest, the last few days I've left it in 4H constantly, but our roads haven't been gritted particularly well:rolleyes:, and I've just been avoiding tight turns! I can still do 50-70mph quite comfortably on our dual...

I was playing in the snow all night...

...though we didn't get much:( Dale

    snow updates please

4" overnight here (and yes, I was out playing in it all night in the Mav!), snowing steadily most of the day, and now it's really coming down quite heavily - they're predicting we're gonna be about the worst hit area tonight with between 12" & 18":)

best chunky offroad tyres for 400 quid??

Just checked my receipt and I too paid £300 for the four, not £360 (that price was the tyres for another car!). No pics I'm afraid (I'm in the middle of decorating and I've no idea where my camera is!), but they're about as chunky as any other AT tyre, and much more grippy and quieter than my...

best chunky offroad tyres for 400 quid??

You really can't go far wrong with a set of Toyo Open Country AT's - I've recently had a set of four (235/75R15) supplied and fitted by blackcircles.com for about £360.

    Finally got a Terrano !

Welcome aboard. If your thinking of selling those SWB steps when you remove them, I might be interested... Dale

    injecter needle lift sensor

The actual part for mine (No.1 injector/sensor) direct from Bosch in Germany coz my friendly expert (and he's very tame!) couldn't track any down with his suppliers was about £200 including VAT.

    wide conqurer tyres

blackcircles.com did a couple of weeks ago on a set of Toyo Open Country AT's for my Mav - £340 fitted:p

    injecter needle lift sensor

I had to have mine replaced a couple of weeks ago. It was an expense I could have done without at this time of year, but it's the first time the Mav has cost me ANY money other than for upgrades/improvements/servicing, and it's made a substantial difference to engine smoothness, available power...

Wht are T2's so uncomfortable to drive

I find the stock seats in my S reg SWB to be more than acceptable. I weigh 19st, I'm 6'1", and like to sit fairly upright as I have arthritis in my spine, but I find I can travel massive mileages in more comfort that I could in my old Volvo S60...

    Dead 'needle' injector

Result! All fixed for a shade under £300 including VAT:) Can I plug a good garage here (I've no 'interest' in it, so it's unbiased)? Marlin Motors in Milton Keynes - I do most of my own work, but these are the only guys I'd trust to wield a spanner near my car otherwise, and I've been using...

    Dead 'needle' injector

We've got a timeshare place up there. At least I managed to save around £110 in fuel costs by taking the wife's car - I can put that towards fixing mine...

    Dead 'needle' injector

Absolutely gutted! Over the past few weeks I've serviced the truck, including changing the diff oil, had four new Toyo Open Country AT's fitted, sourced a suitable lead to connect my Ipod to the Blaupunkt MP65 stereo, all in readiness for my 500 mile drive to Aviemore. 2 miles up the motorway...

    Off to Aviemore next week...

...by way of an overnight stay in Threlkeld. Although we go to Aviemore at the same time every year, it's our first time there in a 4x4 - anywhere up there to go and 'play'?

Adz version of "extreme" raised air

It's gonna sound like a really dumb question, but is there enough 'flex' in those short lengths of silicone hose to allow for engine and body movement? Dale
