If you wana try a second hand one try Thornton Breakers in Bradford or Halifax. Try get them to agree you can return it if it dont work, or maybe get them to put it in whist your there and see if it makes any differnce?

My first caravan was an old 1980's 5 birth Compass Echo... think it weighed in at about 900kg all up!!! Rather then reverse it (it was tiny) I would just unhitch it and push / spin it round on my own!!! Never needed to jockey wheel to lift it onto the tow bar either!!! :o :lol :lol

I can confirm what Lacroupade said... that absolutly nothing has changed between a (yr 2000'ish) MK3 2.7 engine and the MK4 2.7 engine (2003'ish - on) So if you get one that'll fit a 2001 will be fine :thumb2

Cheapo air filter.... I had the exact same thing! - ate 3 MAFS in a couple of days! Bet you've gotta couple of quid air-filter jobby in? Treat it to a Nissan Genuine one! :thumb2

I'm 99% certain I dont get a check light when I turn the key, also dont get any warning lights with the fuse removed... I 'think' it only flashes when your ABS is 'in action' so to speak! :thumb2

Thats not bad then, for a second hand one from a scrapper your looking at £40+.... then you have the farting about with mileage not matching! A new one from Nissan would prob cost you 3x that much!!! I take it you removed it and posted it away to them?

With NFU I cant drive any other vehicle. Insurance in my name, me as owner of vehicle, but missus as the main driver of the T2 (cheaper!!!:augie) With my policy she can drive any other car 3rd party as long as its insured and not owned by her! Doesnt bother me as I also have a company car...
