well i took the t2 for a treat today, wash wax and chassis wash, got home all nice and shiney and noticed the aerial had gona, damn car wash must have nicked it, no problem i thought, i'll just aet a new one off that popular auction website, until i checked and noticed it had not only nicked the aerial but the nut from inside the plastic that holds the aerial in place :doh can i replace this nut easily with a nut of same size or will i have to replace the complete aerial holder?

Try PM 11redrex, solorman or cnfabs, they might have a complete ariel? :nenau

i fixed it, went back to the car wash and they had picked it up off the floor so got it back, bit of hammering some super glue and electrical tape and its back in place, not sure superglue will be strong enough so might get a welder on it :jesterbg

Probably better in the long run to replace the whole thing I guess; don't want to miss yer Terry Wogan eh?! :lol

Did they have a box full of bits, wipers, aerials, trim, roof racks ?


Years ago my boss took his car into a car wash, aerial down, in the wash, he looked at his watch, 1:00 pm, Oh time for the news........

Yep... Aerial was found 30 feet behind the car. :lol :lol
