    Newbie from Scotland saying hi!

Welcome to the club, I have had both, a 2.7 and now a 3.0 and can say the 3.0 has more pull and is more refined. Both engines are very good and as already said, you can run the 2.7 on cooking oil, if you don't mind messing around at fill time. These trucks do rust so have a good check on the...

    Airbag recall

If they wash my truck and do a health check without asking me first, that's their problem and won't be getting paid penny for it. It is going in for the air bag only:lol

    leak

When I got my truck I removed the front mud flaps and found plenty of crap there, I gave the area a good hose down and also the bit when you open the front doors and look towards the wheels. My scuttle area was leaking when I had my wet carpet and I found the seal on the panel was letting water...

    Airbag recall

Got my letter today too, say's it will only take up to 2 hours. Our nearest dealer is now 17 miles away, (local is now a KIA dealer) which is a pain. Do they have to provide alternative vehicles, I have not had this problem before so don't know how it works. Do you catch a bus to local shops or...

    Starter Motor

Not had any dealings with the starter although Ryan (distant member) once had his leg well pulled about fitting his backwards and the possibility of the engine starting in reverse:lol:lol. The calipers are pretty easy to work on. I did mine when I fitted new discs, the sliders are normally the...

Rad weld or no for matrix?

you could remove the heater pipes and piece them together or clamp them off so little or no water gets into the matrix.
