Well it has been almost a year and the WJ is booked in for it's MoT this Friday.

I have checked all the obvious things like lights, wiper blade condition, handbrake adjustment, tyres etc.

Now it's in the hands of the Tester on the day - I am waiting whilst it is being done at work but I have started to have that little bout of inner angst.

Much like an expectant Father in the Maternity Unit. lol

Good luck.......:thumb2

Just put SWMBO's Megane through, sidelight bulb and 2x front tyres, no worries.

My Terry........a few things, but got 2 years to sort them.

I know exactly how you feel, I always used to worry about my Mav MOT, but looking at it in the greater scheme of things... especially this year, does it really matter that much.
Most likely it won't be that much to put it right, a couple of days and all could be fixed.

I guess I will still worry next April, but.... :augie

That's one hurdle over for this year it passed MoT!

Jeep passed it's MoT this morning no advisories at 80,600 miles.

Tester commented on how clean it was underneath too, well chuffed.

Congrats :thumb2. My MR2 had it's MOT yesterday, it failed on O/S front brake caliper sticking,(lack of use) so quickly whipped it off and freed it off, pass ticket now in hand :clap:cool:

I've long-since stopped beating myself up about the MOT. I view it more as an independent safety check than a 'test'. And if it fails it meant it's something I needed to get sorted anyway :thumb2

Yeah same, I don't care anymore

It's not worth the worry, I know unless very very serious or structural that I can do all of the work myself or know someone that could very very little money :thumb2

MoT the dreaded Emissions ?

The bit that bugs me is if it failed on emissions as did my Mums Micra a few years back. Turned out to be a bit of a scam by small Garage doing discounted MoT tests. They ended up adjusting the mixture and charging her an extra £30.

When we got it home it kept stalling - not good on an Auto so I put the mixture screw back up a quarter turn where it was and all was sorted.

Congratulations, another worry sorted...:thumb2
:clap:clap:clap
