    from memory the signal is converted into a positive where as the earlier was a negative pulse, so if all else fails you can take a pick up off the alternator and calculate the pulley ratio between the crank and the alternator and insert inline a suitable resistor to correct the signal strength...

    The early td has a sender tapped into the front timing cover blow the powersteer pump and is a two wire sender The later eti engine sources its signal from a similar two wire sender screwed into the side of the injector pump... The eti signal is sent to the ecu converted into a sqaure wave...

    the only thing that'd be gettin litigagted is who pays for the scratches on the bullbars black paint:naughty but since this particular model had no airbags from factory, It removed the limitation as to what type and duty of frontal protection could be attached to it, where' as if it had airbags...

    Glow Plug Relay Failure

    Temprary solution to get it started while hunting down a replacement is to use a jumper lead direct from the. Battery too the glow plug rail for 3to 4 seconds.... do that twice then crank it.

    yeah that's the reason they don't tighten up, as it's got the wrong taper.
