So after my whoopsie a while back the mistral is sporting a few new mods:sly

The chassis mount for the upper A arm has been repaired, and the idler arm replaced with a reversed powersteer box with the top stripped out to allow the pitman arm to swivel freely.

made up some longer heavy tie rod adjusters and short tie rod ends to go on the navara 2wd drag link,

I have made them so when the tie rod ends are wound right into the adjuster (no thread showing) there is slight toe in, then wound them out to correct the toe/alignment.

this will help minimise the amount of exposed shank and leverage on the tie rod ends.

the rear bumper has been replaced.

Beefed up steering

That sure looks pretty strong - not sure it would be road legal in the UK though?

Might be some littigation involved if vehicle was involved in an accident otherwise who would know!

Wow amazing what you have done Bud. Of course you do realise Alex will be wetting himself when he sees this thread:lol

Ooh yah, I do like the bumpers :clap

Please take another daytime shot of the rear for us :D

Might be some littigation involved ......!

the only thing that'd be gettin litigagted is who pays for the scratches on the bullbars black paint:naughty

but since this particular model had no airbags from factory, It removed the limitation as to what type and duty of frontal protection could be attached to it, where' as if it had airbags it would have to meet the appropriate laws surround frontal impact etc. IT is a bonus that our laws and the dates they came into effect meant that this vehicle does not have to comply with said rules. by 2 years.

Always loved the look of your front bumper but liking it even more now:thumb2

Please take another daytime shot of the rear for us :D

I hope your on about the rear bumper here Alex & not Bud's rear:lol:lol:naughty
