I suspect that the cause is the fact that the truck appears to have been parked in a ford for months judging by his avatar.

That was Strata from the Wales meet last year, it could have been a totally different story as I was egging him to come through the section that T Doug went through and we know how that ended!!! :lol :doh

2.7 Litre WaterWash followed by an engine drain and T Dougs motor has never moved so fast, not sure how much longer we would have been there if we'd have slurped up that much water into a 3 litre, or how forgiving it would have been :nenau

Well........... began welding after listening to a hundred reasons why my good ole brother thought he shouldn't, but just chased a hole about. The area around the leak is paper thin. Managed to lay a large puddle of weld over the hole and let it cool as slowly as possible using a blow lamp but could still hear it cracking so covered the area with, ashamed to say, liquid metal:eek: so ashamed I couldn't even take a photo:doh
There are several places that look as thin so if it lasts till I can source a replacement I'll be happy:augie

Yes Rick. Haven't forgotten. Was hoping to find one 2 or even 3 doors down. But no:lol

Ow's yer diff ??

Looking good T-Doug. I've wire wheeled the hell out of it and it's painted. I've a poly bush kit so it's ready to fit. Hopefully on Tuesday!!
The front diff is clean and also ready to fit. Just need to invest in more oils:lol
I have taken photo's, before anyone grizzles:augie, and will upload them when the job is sorted.

just had a thought here, your old axle will have the larger rear brakes with the auto adjusters that work, just wondering if it is possible/worth while to swap them over, also possible MOT issues next time as your rear brakes may not meet the efficiency given for your year, just open thoughts here, Rick

I'm 50% sure they're the same size brakes:lol here's a picture of what's inside

What's the prognosis Doc?

Mmmmmm blaaaaaack :D

Whats the stroker in the background?

Sorry T-Doug. I do know cos I was talking about it with my brother but it goes to show how much interest I had. It's his boys bike but he doesn't have any interest in it either:nenau

Looking good pal!!!! C200 > H223 is on my list too so I'll be interested to see how you get on :thumb2

I'm not an expert but I'm pretty good at spot the difference and those look the same to me mate, hard to tell overall size on pics but I imagine it would be pretty obvious if one was bigger than the other (keep it clean) me old mucker, looks like you're in luck :thumb2
