They're the tyres I had for the wales meet fella
Ah right, thought you were getting some new ones off yer kid.
How's the truck mate?, have you noticed any difference driving with the different ratio, is it higher or lower?
but did workout it'll be 5mph slower at the same revs.
Truck is fine pal. Have yet to get it up to motorway speeds but did workout it'll be 5mph slower at the same revs.
Feels different to drive, stiffer and the limited slip needs a few miles to settle down. The oil was black and stinking. Nothing like I've been draining out of my old axle.
All good though.
Body lift on Monday too:clap

Awesome :bow
What do you mean stiffer?, and 5mph ain't so bad plus towing that massive gypsy van you have should be easier :thumbs
Great work Blocky :clap
Sounds like a perfect excuse to fit larger tyres... :sly
Need to get another meet organised!
33s would correct it apparently :naughty
2" body lift Monday but I'm thinking a new set of 31s would increase the mph as mine are almost shot.
Well up for another meet :grouphug
Well today I started the body lift.
Removed the bumpers and brackets, loosened the body mounts and disconnected the steering column at the rubber donut. Undone the handbrake cables where it attaches to the underside of the floor.
Back on the floor I used a trolley jack and piece of timber under the body and up it went. Both sides done and bolted up tight.
Made a couple of 2" brackets for the handbrake cables and called it a day:thumb2
