actually every one on my street have driven off with snow on the roof today

my neighbour who has just gone out had snow on the roof, bonnet and back windows , only used the window demister to ment the snow off the windscreen and her wipers were stuck to the screen lmao

i have to buy a bloody broom now to get the snow off as i aint using the garden one :doh

i suppose i have time for half a coke:thumbs

about bloody time, this is one of my pet hates. The other day, theres was this car, and all he had done, was wipe clear "spy holes" in his windows, but left 4 inches of snow on the roof, needelss to say he broke hard, and the snow came down blocking his vision.

I saw another car, parked up on the main roa,d same thing-snow came off the roof and covered the windscreen, so there you go, its dangerous.

i went to far down the slippery slope with the booze, was a LONG HARD CLIMB back up

Yes i know didn't have a 4X4 the did I!

Just typed a message here at the same time is Zippy, thought it better to delete it.

Funny this my wife and I were discussing this...because the other day an AA man on BBC news mentioned that it was illegal....so I was saying what is the offence...Insecure load....Dangerous Parts....!!!!!????

Today we were waiting at a Traffic Island when a high sided vehicle travelled around the island as he passed about 1/2 ton of ice slid from his roof...how the F***** can he remove that???

It is very simple, you climb up on the cab and have a look and if you cannot remove the great big block of ice yourself then you get help but you do not drive your motor until it is safe to do so, and any one who does deservers to loose there licence for along time just imagine going round a round about and a lump of ice half ton maybe slides off your roof and flattens a small car to your left are you gonna say sorry not my fault, act of god or whatever, bollocks you are responsible, no question and you deserve to lose your licence for a long time

if that did happen, you can be sure your insurance company will call it an act of god, then your fooked, :thumb2

just an update

11'o/clock this morning on BBC Essex radio, it came up that someone had been nicked in Basildon for having snow on their roof, radio station contacted Essex police and was told it is down to the officer in question, it is not automatic £60 and 3 points, it is solely down to the police officer to use common sense, officer can issue a slapped wrist, £60 fine, or 3 points, obviously if you give him some lip he will give you the fine and points, but this is for Essex police don't know about other forces. :thumb2

Unless the directive from the ivory tower is otherwise ie a campaign or operation it is up to the individuals discretion, best way imho :thumb2

I do feel that one or two members of this forum may find their technique of negotiation and lack of overall awareness may push them towards the higher penalty :augie :lol
