I'm also a fan of a template mock up of sorts. I wouldn't want to be recutting little bits of RSJ to get it just right.

This is all I managed today as done a couple of muscles and can barely lift it, cut bent and tacked, now I have to decide to buy a winch tray or make one, got my eye on a Rhino 13500lb winch with synthetic or a cheaper Stealth, Rick

Trying to get more fuel into my truck. Possibly using a different pump . Still researching.
As I'm limited on what injectors I can use I'm trying to figure out shim sizes etc to get more fuel from them and the pump

An injector is what it is, a delivery method, as to what it can deliver is down to the pump, given certain requirements of engine size etc, so pump is your game, Rick

Not much done of late as back has put paid to heavy activity, but a Slindon meet is being arranged for the 22nd of the month, so has to be ready by then 13500lb winch is on it's way, and have metal to make a tray, the other two wheels and tyres are due on the 18th so should all be go for the meet, watch this space, Rick

Welded up the bumper today, you know you have a good weld when the flux peals off by itself

Gave it a power wire brush and started painting it when had a call from a customer with a dripping tap, nice old dear but worried about it so shot off and fixed it, more work on the bumper tomorrow including fitting winch tray, now I have the winch to set it out with, Rick

Why do you need a winch tray aswell ? I'd have thought that I beam plenty strong enough
