Is it not going to be a bit heavy?

Yes all up it will be heavy, but I need a bit of weight on the front, and as this is a road going motor I know the reality of needing to brace up against a tree in order to stop the truck sliding even with foot on the brake in slippy conditions, this bumper will fulfill this condition, Rick

Bit more done today, cut and fitted the chassis mounts with captive nuts

I think I'd still be inclined to cut out a slot in the back of the I beam between the chassis rails. Then add a piece in at the same level as the horizontal flat.
If you see what I mean :thumbs

Sorry Pete you lost me there, Rick

I like where this is going :thumb2

Whats the weight of the thing like Rick? That hanging off the front and your standard bastard lane tool setup would easy put you into the LGV category :lol

Around 40 Kg plus winch tray and winch another 40 so about 80 Kg or so in total, but need that to bring the front down, Rick

They look like they want to take off at the front sometimes when I've seen them :lol

It must be all the horses trying to escape Rick :lol

Yep so need to find others with Patrols to get a bulk order for Lokkers, Rick

Ah hit a snag, just looked on the Lokka site and seems the Y60 is not supported however the Y61 is, so Rob/Makitfit please explain the difference, Rick

erm I don't know. I bought one for mine but then I've got Y61 axles to go on. Pretty sure when I spoke to Lokka they're the same diff :nenau

How do I know if I have 31 spline? will have to investigate this further, Rick

But at the end of the day if I lock the dif and use auto hubs I can see no real gain in the lokka, I will still have full 4 wheel when I want it and rear two wheel when not , Rick
