Thanks Rick, currently been promised one from an 02 with paperwork in the folder of a turbo reconditioning back in 08 :nenau

If that turns out to be the right one im looking at £45

Still going to explore options of a rebuild of my current one too with the thought of upgrading the compressor wheel too for some extra BHP?

New one is off the cards for sure :O

Also on another note, Elty has told me that 04 onwards they changed the Turbo on the Bosch Terranos.

Im not sure which one I ended up with ie, old or new type but would be good to hear from others?

This may also root out why some Bosch Terranos go better than others!!! When we were here thinking it was performance difference in injector pumps, or could it be a combination of both :nenau

They changed from a journal bearing to a ball bearing turbo.
This is supposed to improve the throttle response and spool up quicker so definitely a performance increase.

I had my turbo modified and included 360 bearings, so don't get bogged down looking for one if you're refurbing

So I've contacted pretty much everyone I can find on eBay breaking a 2.7 2004 onwards, rang CNCFabs who doesnt answer the phone ever anymore, Mental Mickey has gone AWOL too.

James only has older ones

Everywhere I call for a refurb is coming in at £300 plus and this is the only unit I can see "ready to go"

You cant let it get you down mate, nobody else is going to get it sorted for me because I'm sulking about it. Just got to pick up the spanners and then do your best to get it back on track without spending too much coin.

I'll have it clean when I get it all back together.

I always thought the same turbo was used across the range of years and models but as I've found out over the last week there are a few variables.
Not saying they wouldn't fit and work but thats on for the guinea pigs.
