I'm not a natural when it comes to electrics but I'm not as bad as I used to be, however I would like some advice please. The new hazard button illumination is quite bright and I would like to fit a resistor to dim the illumination, what type of resistor should I use and what resistance would be a good starting point, I'll probably have to order a few to experiment with levels of illuminations.

Also I will be putting two switches either side and they will be illuminated, I don't know what to do about power for illumination though, if I take power from the hazard illumination for the other four switch illuminations would that be too much illumination for the wire to handle?

P.s,.....Illumination :D

Tdoug, drop me a pm with your address and Ill post a selection for you to try :thumbs
They literally cost pence and I've got a stack of them.

Aye. Looking good. What are the other switches for? :naughty

:doh nowt yet, but I will get front and rear led light bars etc so thats two, maybe one for cb power and one for winch power :nenau depends what my twisted imagination comes up with in the meantime :sly

L4nd R0v3r$ are known for leaking stuff out, my Terrano won't stop letting stuff in, water ingress AGAIN, this time from the roof rack mountings I reckon :doh this could be the first Terrano to rot from the inside out instead of the usual :lol

Just a little more sanding and possibly a tiny bit of filler if ocd strikes lol, then a temporary coat of grey until I spray the base colour and get the hydrographic film to dip it in, that may be a little while though.
