A quick update, I fitted those spacers, all seems good :thumb2

I've been running 30mm spacers on mine for 7 years with no issues:thumb2

I've been doing a bit to the truck today, I took the front bumper off and firmly attatched the plastic part to the metal part. Two bolts and some self tappers at it's solid now. Obviously won't survive a collision with another car etc., or will it, what you reckon Banshee???

While I had the bumper off I had a good look round, I found one or two bits that need some attention.

But apart from that everything looked good.

I also removed the winch to give it an inspection/clean/service.
Looks like a little muddy water got into where the solenoids live but not much, I'm quite happy with that, especially considering it gets exposed to water and mud a lot.

I took the motor cover off and was well pleased to find it this clean. I haven't taken the drive side off yet, I'll do that tomorrow.

Love how the winch is hidden, did you make the winch tray yourself? I'm still in two minds whether to buy the AJS or have a crack at building my own.

I bought a generic winch tray and made it fit, I moved the rad back a bit, cut some metal out of the bumper etc. Not as easy as fitting a winch bumper that's for sure.

I took the gearbox off the winch today, not as clean as the motor end but not bad really, a bit of rust, a bit of water dribbled out but the grease hadn't washed away and everything moved freely.

A couple of whirls in the parts cleaner and a tin of brake cleaner later and it came up almost like new
I greased it all up using some seriously good grease that lazy ferret put me onto, and look at it, it was very satisfying :thumbs

I spotted a crack so I welded it up while I had the bumper off.

Got one on mine to sort out on the opposite side.I cleaned up the panel ready for when I next have the welder out.

I've gotten round to fitting my LOKKA equipped front diff that I got from Rick.
