I'm waiting to get the spindle back then i need to pester Rick for a pitman arm :lol
I don't know whether to put blue loctite or copper grease with sprung washers on the screws that hold the plate on, any thoughts anyone?
I will be using tiger seal to seal it :thumbs

That plates not coming off that's for sure :thumb2
 
Tell me about it, but i've only done 6 holes, still not finished it, way way way too many projects on the go at once :(

I'm off out now to start checking and dismantling my wiper mech, got front shocks to put on, tow bar to finish and put on, steering box to finish and fit, arb drop links on the way and I need to sort some rust coming through on boot door! No big jobs there but they still ain't done yet :lol

Had a look at my wiper mech today to see where the play was coming from, had a look inside and then it all came flooding back, the bodge i did on it before it was even my truck :doh Long long ago under street light not far from me, on a cold and rainy night :lol

Plastic tray and two metal covers off


That's the one officer


Drilled a hole and stuck a nail through it :rolleyes:

kitchen fitter is pete, he rang me while I was posting :lol

OK got the connecting arm, and as you have drilled your ball, you will be wanting the spindle with the two balls on as well, PM me your address and I will get them off to you, Rick

Brilliant, don't suppose you managed to find a pitman arm did you?

No, only got one left and it is on a motor that I will have to move at some point, but not till I have cleared a space occupied by loads of scrap, so do not know when that will be, Rick
 
I've been doin a bit of painting, rear plastics and rear door.





Need to prep and paint bottom of door now then lacquer the lot :thumb2
 
Nice, I was looking on Suzs car at that bit of trim under the rear window, how easy was it to remove?

Mine are the same colour as your primer tin lid :confused:
