Just wondering how many miles on a full tank of diesel my Mav 2.7TDi should do.? :nenau

Around town with AC on all the time I get atleast 360 miles on a tank full.

BTW if your picture is your car I don't think it's a TDi, TDi's have a vent in the bonnet to cool the intercooler.

Plenty of threads on mpg Adz but per gallon for a TDi, 23-25 if you thrash an auto, 25-27 if you thrash a manual, maybe 30-ish if you drive like its an Austin Allegro. But the great thing is you still get the lower figures cruising at 90 (as if I would).

Any figures +2.5mpg if you fit an induction kit for £50-odd squid, and as I've found, probably another +2-3mpg with a diesel powerbox of some kind (a Tunit in my case).

No your not thick, yes they are injectors. The "i" stands for Intercooler.

the i is for intercooler......the radiator thing that sits under the scoop normally, which is how we know you haven't got one, cos your bulging not scooping

good for another 25 bhp, but then it seems the TD engine is more easily tunable than the TDi.....plenty threads on here about it...

Mixed driving, and not hanging about, sometimes with the trailer on, i get ~400 to a tank full.

tdi bonnet wont fit its curve is not the same.... but you can do your own scoop thats what id do if i had td

very easy to do not big bucks and you can go bigger scoop too then possible extra cooling for the intercooler.....

but fit an intercooler its a good easy cheep mod with good bhp return

we are all on 50/50 mix so we are hitting 40-45mpg (price equiv)

Hi sorry to jump in on this thread, but I'm (fingers crossed) getting a t2 this weekend, and i have a few trips from devon over to pompy from now until july and looking at whacking in some svo to bring the cost of fuel down, should i introduce it slowly 10/90 mix or just smash it in 50/50?

Mines currently 75% SVO 25% BioDiesel and running sweet
