Probably is a bit drastic Jim but it's been plated in the rear by me and had had some done before I got it.
There isn't that much good metal left.
All the strengthening sections on the underneath are crusty and rotten.
It will actually be easier and less work to cut out the lot and replace.
Also replacing the sills with box section as they are starting to go.
