Mmmm looks like I will have to go back to my mate as this board is different to the one he showed me, I think it could be the Siemens chip top left on the first pic but on the pic he showed me it was on a separate board with other components, you will have to bear with me as he is hard to get hold of, Rick

There is a pump firm in Ashford that has VE mechanical pumps for sale £330 to £500, is you motor worth that to you to get on the road? just need some kind of throttle cable to be ready to go, Rick

Somewhere I do have a spare pump which may be a VE. But yes I would be willing to spend £300-500 to get it back on the road. The problem being my lack of confidence to tackle the job.
