How on earth did you keep all the ali bits and others clear of the blue, surely you did not mask it, it would have taken hours, but looks very good, Rick

I removed what i could and masked the rest.
Took about an hour to mask up.
Industrial and commercial paint finishing is what i do for a living so no stranger to this sort of thing.

Elty your definitely a connoisseur.
Lovely job.
Will it be ready for the Overland show?

If all goes to plan i was hoping to have it back in at the weekend.
Depends on if i have to work as to how far i get with it.

You got more patience than me, I would have just sprayed the lot, Rick

I just shoveled the mud off mine:lol

:lol:lol:lol:lol:lol
This is the one i got off of Rick and was pretty clean.
The one that came out of mine has got a kind of baked on cammo look:lol:lol

Not the parts i was hoping would be here today but still needed.

Get those spanners out

Spanners have been out.
Not on the engine though.
Had a leaking radiator valve to change.
Long ball ache of a job draining the system, fit new valve,re fill the system then bleed and balance the radiators.

Freeze the pipe is a quicker way out, one off kits are about £20 Rick

I looked at the pipe freeze kits but to be honest the system was due a good flush out so killed two birds with one stone.
All sorted now:thumb2

Got a bit more done on the engine yesterday.
Big end shells swapped and the sump back on:thumb2
A couple of perished hoses to swap and broken studs on the exhaust and it's ready for dropping back in:thumb2
