Well, my mind will be made up Monday of that week as Bonkas have a Pay'n'Play plus laning BUT nice to do something different plus Lynn could take the Vitara & hopefully get the bug :augie

.trap lane not sure of this one and the ?? clough but the one with the gate posts is moorbank road. after that i missed the turn for a lane on the way to houndkirk.:doh

think fox house, nice pub near end of houndkirk does,
otherwise google b&b round hathersage, possiblely
castleton but likely dearer.
some nice camp grounds in and near hope valley,
caravan club at castleton, others near bamford.

possibly might have a bit of space in the awning of the trailer tent if needs be do have a camp bed available if needed although will probably have a pup tent knocking around

clough lane, sk288 844 to sk295 846 then over to trap lane 310 846 to 312 846
which comes out in houses bit like top olf moorbank, then can fly back up
ringinglow road to the 'round house' and onto houndkirk. or reverse of course.
easy though clough was narrow with bushes in places last time went up, plus
plonker (lovers lane?) parked at its exit had to move sharpish when we turned
up.

also slightly off route bole hill aka strawberry lane at sk300 798 to sk300 800,
2 lanes out of totley village metalled joined again by a rough steep track
near firing range. rough now but another one surafaced 20yrs ago to vw
2wd camper van standards. last time uphill in t2 was as good as leeside!
sk333 821 to sk335 807 by historic beauchief abbey is a boat but signs
discourage use as i recall will check next time over that way. not hard
but interesting bit like that really long lane near retford we did last year
that crossed main road near prison.

we are still 'provisionals' plank and mrs plank, I also have a couple of jobs to do on truck first and need to bully oldest daughter into baby sitting so we can camp over night!
it would be worth repooting here, to avoid the nexcestity of re-reading the whole thread, a summary of the dates location and itenerary of the days? Will the green laning be on the 11th or the 12th? if so approximate time?
