just read the (staying on the right track) by pdnp.from eltons link above.
looks like a lot of checking of available routes will have to be done before deciding on a route for the day.
CAN I ASK THOSE THINKING OF ATTENDING TO POST ON HERE SO IVE AN IDEA OF HOW MANY ARE COMING .
PLEASE STATE MAKE /MODEL AND STANDARD OR MODIFIED .

as far as i know all the lanes we use are still open and legal to drive.
now on pindale you have to keep to the right(downhill)but its been blocked off with boulders so its hard to wander off track.not sure about bamford clough but cant see anything on glass about a tro.will just have to look out for signs and keep looking at the glass website.

I had a look around web sites last night ,there doesnt seem to be much info of TRO`s
pindale seams to have had a lot of work over the last few months.
will have to look at Bamford clough on the day,
perhaps drive down it for a change. then over to the grouse moor if dry enough.
moorbank road ,houndkirk moor and others
want to know more then join us on the day.
MAYBE GO OVER TO STANNAGE TO HAVE A LOOK AS I AM SURE THERE WILL BE SOME PEOPLE DRIVING IT .
its only a short walk to the difficult piece from stannage Pole which we can all drive to as its a good limestone lane..
I DONT intend us to drive the difficult piece.

my tdi has only done one lane since i have owned it and the previous owner used it to drive around his field with hay in the back for horses so not really been laned much but i intend to change that.:thumb2
more carpark scars than laning scrapes at the mo.

some still need to confirm .
there are a few young ones coming on the day but dont know if any are staying over.
there are plenty of camp sited in the area.
I have not set a start time yet but it will probably be 9am sharp.
We are quite informal so usually have a natter at meet point giving late comers a chance to arrive.
your truck will cope easily.

DATE NOW SET FOR THE SATERDAY 11th SEPTEMBER.
I wont be pre driving the route so some changes may have to be made on the day.
I will check for lane closures tro`s ect closer to the day.
The route will be similar to last years so hopefully wont be any problems.
But if you have waffle boards and tow ropes and shovels ect it wont hurt to bring them
If anyone else would like to come all are welcome .

truck will definatly get some mud splashers
and more important
possible some light scratches.

i dont mind mud, and i dont mind scratches. ive got Kingpin trekker 60/40 tyres, im sure they will beok, huge grip? I have only ever done Langdale Experince and some very minor short lanes/quarries, so im classing myself as very much an amateur

so dont laugh at me for being crap...!

hi clivvy.
we have had terrano lwb on slicks with us before now so no worries.
also had plenty of bigginers out with us so be assured you will be well looked after.
every where we will be going is classed as an easy drive.
Its more about enjoying the view than any thing else.
so dont worry and dont forget your camera
