You can keep a car going for as long as you like, just depends on the amount of effort your willing to put in to do that, remember triggers twenty year old brush ten new heads and seven new handles:thumbs.

    had a spare hour today

Mine is the 2002 and looks identical to a 54 reg just up the road, however as its right on the change over it seems to have a few oddities and it still had the built on radio/fascia style about 1 1/2 din? with built in hazard switch. Heres a pic off the mav hazard switch, it clipped straight in...

    had a spare hour today

MDF and plack pvc, really that simple. Made it a snug fit also so that no screws needed. Heres a pic of the back to show just how basic it really is. The hazard switch it one from a maverick at the local scrappers, just clipped it into one of the switch pop outs to the left of the sterring...

    Extra rear lights

Had a play with the LEDs again as i found that they didnt disperse the light very well. Cut the LED holders down so that most of the LED is exposed inside the light fitting, working much better.

    Exhaust

Changed mine recently, definately three studs on a cam shaped flange, if you crawl underneath you should be able to see all three with a torch. I did mine without jacking up or unbolting anything else but it was a bit of a tight squeeze to say the least. Other members recomended passenger wheel...

    Extra rear lights

This morning i fitted some LED's into my brake light housing so that i now have rear lights higher up the car, they look ok (imo) but i was wondering if anyone thought they might impact an MOT. They a slightly dimmer than my normal back lights and clearly distinguishable from the brake lights...

    Advice-Decorating!

Even chiseling the walls is very messy, especially if breeze block. If your floorboards are standard 5 / 6" boards its easy to just lift a few and run the cable through the floor void. Its would defiantly consider running the cable up the wall outside though, the only real mess is the drilling...

    Advice-Decorating!

Why not go up the front wall to joist height, drill through the wall and then just lift a few boards upstairs and feed it where needed. That should keep it a nice tidy job.

    Advice-Decorating!

One thing to bear in mind is that when chasing the walls the dust will get everywhere and i mean everywhere so seal off the rest of your house completely, even access it via a different door if possible. By coaxial you mean tv aerial type cable? Generally if you have concrete floors you would...

I put some ring xenon ultima lamps in mine about two weeks ago, as i wasnt happy with standard (might just be my night vision) much much better and they where on offer in motorworld reduced from about £20 to about £14.

    Still have accelerator pedal issues!!

found this in the r20 manual on page EC371, there is alot of checks for the accelerater in the EC section from page 365 onwards, this is only relevant if its the same kit as the R20 but im sure somebody will know if they are the same. Edit: The regulator is normally part of the alternator.

    Still have accelerator pedal issues!!

With regard to the lights dimming, getting brighter, have you checked the voltage regulator, ie checked the voltage to the battery isn't going excessively high with revs,i.e. above 15.V, I'm not sure if the R20 manual applies to your car but its mentioned in there. Also i would think that it...
