hello, has any x trail owner out there changed the front wheel bearings them selfs, looks like i have one running out, any tips on changing them wat to watch out for, any snags, be glad of any tips

dont know what fuel pump fitted, i use advanced diesel, always service car regular, usualy get 10mile to the liter, hope this helps.

come across the problem at sea in fuels, you did right to start treatment stright away, but the primery source must be treated, are u using the same fuel garage, or variouse ones, modern fuels are very prone to this problem due to the prosses of catalytic cracking, keep checking you fuel...

Hello all, i have a, x trail sve dci (t30 yd22ddti) 04 reg manual gearbox, due oil changes to gearbox & diff gearoil is api gl4 viscosity sae 75w/85 diff oil is api gl5 viscosity sae80w/90 can any one recomend a good brand of oil greatfull for any feedback.

Have a 2.2 x sve, i use halfords diesel 5w/40 full synthetic £35.00 for 5ltrs, change mine every 6000miles, hope this helps. ,

when i perchesed my x trail the keys was stolen from the dealer, thay ordered 2x keys from nissan, both had to be programed in car by nissan these then are unique to your car, the electronics will accsept no other key,cost to dealer £250 per key.

I have a 04 x trail cdi sve manual any body out ther can tell me why i should not add ptfe to the gear box oil, or rear diff oil, has the gear box got a semi or slipping diff, or rear slipping diff.

have not had any probs like this on my x come up with is put it up on some ramps and give it a good looking at, if you are not mechanicaly minded get a freindly mech pay couple of quid get him to have a look, its hard to say with ouy looking first.

had my x 6yrs love it to bits mines a manual box, check for syncro whine in box, intercooler leaking oil, electrics as this is fly by wire, i do most of my repairs myself (mechanical) the rest has to be taken to the garage, if you know some body with the soft ware briliant hope this helps

eng problem yes had the same prob on my x trail dci was air entrainment in fuel pump went to my indipendent jap garage cost me 50quid , then found fuel non return valve faulty, had that done 800quid all set up 1yrs gaurantee no prob since, hope this is of help, i could not do this job myself...
